Before You Burn
Prior to each burn ensure that you have trimmed the wick to 0.5cm. Following this simple step will ensure that your candle burns clean and evenly until the end.
Lighting Your Candle
Each time you light your candle, you want to be sure to continue burning until the top layer of wax has liquified all the way to the edges of the vessel. This will prevent tunnelling and ensure that you are getting the most efficient and cost effective burn from your candle.
If your candles flame is too high or flickering, extinguish your candle, trim the wick and re-light. If your flame is too small, pour out any excess wax and re-light. This may need to be repeated more than once depending on the length of your wick.
Do not burn your candle for longer than four hours at a time. Exceeding this four hour limit could possibly result in over heating of the vessel which may in turn crack. Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface away from drafts, children and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Putting Out Your Candle
To extinguish your candle, simply place the lid back on the jar. Cutting off the flames oxygen will do the trick!
